Gynecology department was founded in 1955. Through the endeavors of several generations, including Ha Litian, Gu Xiaochi, Zhang Jijin, and Jin Jiling, the department has two national-level studios. In terms of disciplinary development, it has cultivated a talent team represented by national outstanding TCM clinical experts, Tianjin famous TCM doctors, and outstanding young TCM doctors of Tianjin, including two doctoral supervisors and six master supervisors. The department has two specialized clinics and one multi-disciplinary demonstration clinic, with more than 160,000 outpatients annually. In addition, the department has undertaken more than 30 national projects, formulated and revised two clinical guidelines, and obtained authorization for one patent. Additionally, the department has served as the associate editor and participated in the compilation of 11 textbooks, and published over 300 papers.
